{First Look}

So, we decided to do a first look. I know it's not traditional by any means and to tell you honestly, I never thought that I would do it. However, after deciding to have an outdoor wedding, it turns out that there was not any time to take photos. And, honestly, photos are in the top five most important things to a wedding (for me anyways!). So, first look it was. Ryan was so relieved (he was very, very worried about nerves/anxiety) at the wedding-this seemed like the perfect solution! And in the end, I was so glad that we had a first look. It was the most special time in my life-it was just Ryan and I. Our bridal party joined us shortly afterwards and we had bunches of group shots so we had the privilege to spend TONS of time together celebration and having fun pre-ceremony (all of our bridal party knew each other pretty well before engagement!). Anyways, my ranting is over....here they are!

{Getting Ready}

Since I missed this wedding weekend, I'll make it up to you now! Here are the first batch of photos. We got ready at my parent's home, and I had all the girls meet there for a relaxing morning. I ended up sleeping at my home with Ryan, and that morning, I woke up, wished him happy wedding day and left! We are such a breezy couple, I really wasn't worried about 'not seeing him'. Annnnd, we had a 'first look' anyways, so it really didn't bother me. Anyways, here are the photos!

{confession-I bought these the day before the wedding. I wasn't happy with what I had to I went out searching and came across these beauties!}

The weather was horrid. It rained all morning making the boys (ushers, groomsmen, dads and anyone else) frustrated when setting up the chairs and the ceremony location. We did have a rain location and it was at the same park. The rain decided to stop just before the boys needed to get ready. I have talked to the woman's home they got ready at and she said that it was shower/suit chaos! After the chairs were set up and the boys were dressed, we were ready to meet them and have our first look. But it was 100% humidity (thanks rain!) and hot out! I feel so bad for the guys, but they didn't complain once!

{Wedding Pictures are IN}

I'm so happy, but yet sad at the same time. I feel like there is nothing new wedding wise anymore! I told Ryan this, and he said, "What about our puppy?". Hmm.....I guess my birthday is coming up! :)

I'm a MRS!

Due to my job, I have not been able to blog as much as I would like. However, since I have lots of new material to talk about (pretty sure I got married or something?) I am going to at least write and fill you in on the details of the wedding/honeymoon on the weekends....and who knows, maybe there will be a week day post in there too!!

So, first things first. We do not have our wedding pictures back-our photographer said about a month (which is still almost two weeks away!) but, there are plenty of HONEYMOON pictures! :)

As stated previously, we honeymooned on the island of Eleuthera, in the Bahamas. We had rented a house with a private beach, and let me tell you, it was the PERFECT honeymoon. No tourist, no noise (except the waves crashing on our beach), no traffic, nothing. And expect for Ryan getting a little sun burned, we didn't have any problems! But, I'm sure you're sick of me talking and want to see pictures!!

I'm only going to show you the first day, but believe me, there will be more!
